Ten Forty Matrix is a vigorous loose-limbed organisation of lesbians over forty who relish discussion and debate about the issues we face in work, life, at home, in the arts and politics.
The site originally catered for women in the Sydney area, but over the years, has grown beyond its original borders to embrace women from all over Australia and internationally.

Mature Age Gays was founded in 1991 by Steve Ostrow through a project of ACON (AIDS Council of NSW, Australia). Steve described it as "a peer support, social and educational group targeting mature age men forty and up who have sex with men, regardless of how they choose to identify themselves".

Matrix Guild Victoria Inc. was founded in 1992 by a group of lesbian feminists for the benefit of lesbians over forty years of age . We promote appropriate care and support for older lesbians. We challenge ageism and oppose discrimination. We provide some accommodation in Victoria for older lesbians who are financially disadvantaged.

Pink Mountains is a community website for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (GLBTIQ) people living in and visiting the Blue Mountains in NSW Australia.

The Three Sisters Social Group Inc is based in the Blue Mountains NSW and its membership is open to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex and queer people.The group arranges social events in the Blue Mountains region and members and visitors of all persuasions are welcome.The group encourages an atmosphere of non-discrimination, tolerance and respect.
